It’s a firefox browser plug-in that not only helps you retrieve files, images and videos from your email accounts but also lets you share that media with your friends on various social networks.
How Xoopit Works ?
Xoopit indexes all attachments and links to photos and videos from sites like Flickr, Picasa, and YouTube.
Their integrated media search with Gmail’s search box shows you media results when you search them.You can even post these videos, pictures directly from your Gmail account to Facebook or to your blog.
It plans to expand its offerings to the top webmail systems including Hotmail, AOL and some popular social networks.
Xoopit ’s “Facebook meets Gmail” Feature
Some time back Xoopit included a feature that lets Gmail users immediately see and set Facebook status messages and view profile photos of their Facebook friends while reading emails from their inbox.
Users can also quickly see other information such as birthdays and mobile phone numbers. After you have downloaded this feature, you can easily update your own status directly from your Gmail account using Facebook Connect.
