How DoubleTwist Works ?
When a device is plugged into a PC, DoubleTwist launches automatically and recognizes all the media files on that device. Any file can be selected, dragged, and dropped into DoubleTwist to be synched up to a separate device, or shared with other DoubleTwist users you’ve added as friends.
It manages your Music, Photos and Movies folders, and lets you drag and drop any other folders into its media browser. There’s a search function to check your folders. It organizes music in sortable list form, while photos and videos are displayed as tiles.
The social networking aspects lets you share media with your friends on facebook, youtube and flickr.
Imports iTunes Playlists
DoubleTwist recognizes and imports all iTunes playlists. It can even read instantly which ones are protected by digital rights management technology. The software automatically plays the song files in the background and re-records them as MP3 files so they can be transferred to any device.
