Zoosk - Social Dating Network Enabling Singles To Meet Their Matches

Zoosk is an online dating community for singles to interact with their matches who are present within the context of their online social networks.
Zoosk

Zoosk integrates with the most popular social networking sites including Facebook, MySpace, Bebo, and Hi5.

How does Zoosk work?

You can join Zoosk by adding the Zoosk application widget on those social networks or by signing up directly at the zoosk’s website.

This app pulls the info and photos from your social networking page, so you can set up your Zoosk Date Card (profile) with one click.

If you register directly on their website, it automatically calculates the best matches for you and show them to you one by one.

After viewing each profile, you can choose to either wink at the person, send a flirt, or simply skip. Choose a flirt from our suggested list of fun flirts, or write one of your own.

World’s Largest Social Dating Community

Zoosk claims to be the world’s largest social dating community with over 20 million members from more than 40 countries. It owes much of its growth to its integration with social networks with large user bases already signed up.

Zoosk’s Desktop Application

Zoosk Desktop is a downloadable application that allows you to have Zoosk running on your computer, even when you don’t have your browser open. The Zoosk Desktop shows you “What’s New” on Zoosk, and notifies you in real time when you receive new winks or emails.

Company Insight

Based in San Francisco, California, Zoosk was founded in December 2007 by Shayan Zadeh and Alex Mehr. It has received venture funding from Canaan Partners, ATA Ventures, and Amidzad Partners.
