Plurchase is a new social shopping service that lets you chat with you friends while you shop online.
How Plurchase Service Works ?
From Plurchase.com, you can visit online shopping sites like Zappos with the additional Plurchase’s social toolbar on the right hand side of the page.
On this toolbar, you can see your buddy list of other Plurchase users, which includes what sites they are currently shopping on. You can chat with them online and see what they are looking at on other shopping sites as well.
There’s also a link to invite other friends to join you in shopping with Plurchase via email.
If you find an item you like while shopping and want to show a friend, you can bookmark the item and leave a comment. You can also note whether you “like” it, “dislike” it. Your friends can do this as well. Anytime you bookmark an item, it shows up in the chat area with a link, so your online friends will see it and can see what you’re looking at.
This service can be used with Facebook Connect and it is also available for you to buy products at Amazon and Craigslist. They are also planning to add more sites, as well as Twitter and voice chat integration in the future.
