Livekick

Currently Livekick has more than 75,000 concerts in the U.S. with more than 20,000 artists performing and close to 40,000 venues in their database.

How Livekick Search Engine Works ?

To start, Livekick first looks to acquire knowledge of a users’ musical tastes and preferences.

It asks you to add you location. then it tries to gauge your musical tastes by allowing you to select your favorite artists by name, or by importing artists from your iTunes library, computer music library, MySpace Music, Last.fm, Pandora, iLike, blip.fm or Rhapsody accounts.

Based on these artists and where you live or travel to, Livekick gives you live concert recommendations via the web, Twitter or email.

Once you’ve found a concert you like, Livekick helps you find the best and the cheapest available tickets online from many ticketing web sites like Ticketmaster, LiveNation, StubHub, TicketWeb, Tickets.com and eBay.

Additional Features for Music Enthusiasts

The site also includes a calendar for your upcoming concerts, which can be exported to the Outlook or iCal calendars.

Livekick even offers a downloadable desktop app that scans your computer for new music, updating the artists on your account, and also has a ‘Your Artists’ section that keeps track of tour listings as well links to the artist’s web site.
