Get Latest Updates and News on Wide Array of Topics Using LazyFeed
Posted by ilovegajeebo in Daily Featured Websites on December 8th, 2009
Lazyfeed is a new service that lets you get live updates on every topic you care about.
How It Works?
You don’t have to subscribe to RSS feeds in LazyFeed. You can simply select topics manually or type tag or single-word search term, and LazyFeed will return videos, photos, and blog posts tagged with that term.

It indexes about 100,000 of the most popular blogs and organizes posts by topic. The hottest topics, as determined by related tags, pop up to the top.
Features of LazyFeed
Monitor
As you first start using Lazyfeed, you will have your own space called “Monitor”. You can even add as many topics as you like to your Monitor and watch live updates on those topics.
Tile
Each topic you add will look like a tile that updates itself automatically. When there’s new content on a topic, the tile will turn yellow and update itself.
Browser
Each tile when pressed, will open up a live update page for the topic. These pages will open in an internal browser, where all contents are sorted by time.

Snapily - Create Your Own 3D and Animated Prints
Posted by ilovegajeebo in Daily Featured Websites on December 16th, 2008
Snapily.com is the place online where consumers can add special effects to their personal photos, transforming ordinary pictures into electrifying and dynamic creations for almost the same price as standard photo products.
The startup however is quite different from other customizable stationary and business card services, meaning that its feature leave others far behind.

Snapily - Create Your Own 3D and Animated Prints
Using Snapily’s proprietary technology, consumers can easily add “special effects” such as 3D, Flip, Morph and printed video clips on a variety of photo products, including greeting cards, scrapbook pages, business cards and personal fun cards, invitations and thank you cards; and notebooks.
The feature of 3D effect separates the backdrop from the foreground, on the cards, creating a morph effect, while you can also mash up two separate photos to make a 3D effect, sort of like switching between two photos.
The printing technique that Snapily uses on the cards is known as lenticular printing, in simple words, makes a 3D effect on the cards. Though you have to make a bulk purchase to own these cards, as Snapily does not allow one-off purchases – but that feature is soon to come as well, where users can buy a single product of their choice on a price range that’s affordable.
Pricing itself is detailed in the corresponding part of the site, and different packages are available for you to choose the one that will suit you best. Snapily products start at $3.99. Lastly, the site also features a gift wizard that makes finding the right present for the right person an effortless task.
