Twitter To Launch its Service via SMS in India With Airtel

icro-blogging service Twitter has partnered with Bharti Airtel to enable people to send and receive tweets without internet access. According to Twitter, the partnership will allow Airtel subscribers to send tweets at standard rates at Rs 1 per tweet and receive tweets for free through SMS.
Twitter will be available in India on SMS only on the Airtel network.

A new entrant in Micro payment services are Beam from Delhi based Company ‘Suvidha’, who are giving you an option to purchase any and everything using their prepaid card and mobile services.
Although, we have not yet noticed any ‘Beam Accepted Here’ banner in Jaipur, but we are hoping that they scale up soon to be the pioneers in this concept.
