Motionbox is a secure place to share, edit, and store personal videos. It is a lot different from other video sharing site because of its in-depth privacy settings that makes it better suited for sharing clips within a select group of friends rather than the whole world.
Motionbox offers two ways to upload video files: a simple, browser based uploader and the Motionbox Express Uploader (MxU), a desktop tool that makes it drag-n-drop easy to upload videos to Motionbox.
As you upload videos, it trans-codes files to flash to reduce file size and standardize viewing. They also store the original files and allow you to download those files and purchase DVDs of the files.

Video editing is another feature of Motionbox which makes it different from others. When editing a video, Motionbox breaks it down visually into frames and you can edit the file by including linking several video files and removing any portions of files, mashups with other users’ public videos etc.

It offers basic and Premium accounts with monthly playback limits. A Basic account has up to 100 plays per video or 500 per account. A Premium account has up to 500 plays per video or 5,000 per account.

12seconds.tv is a video messaging service that lets you share what you’re doing with your friends and family using short video clips. You can use your web cam or mobile phone to record videos of 12 seconds in length.
How do I use 12seconds?
Using 12seconds is simple. Using your browser, mobile phone or any other video recording device you can record and upload 12 seconds of video to 12seconds.tv. Your videos will be displayed in the public stream and in the streams of your followers.
You can then share your videos with all your friends and family, post them to your Twitter, Facebook and Friendfeed accounts and even embed them into your blog or websites.
You’re also given a dedicated e-mail address to which you can send video from your phone or desktop.
Upload Videos using Mobile Phone
You can record and share 12second updates with just about any mobile phone. Just record your video and email or MMS it to the unique email address. They also have an iPhone app named “12mail”.

12mail lets you send short video messages to your contacts, which it can pull from your Facebook or Twitter accounts, if you like. Recording a new and sending a saved video are both supported. You can even take a still picture and record an audio track instead of going for a full video.

Its early ages for collaborative concept in India, and it might take time to be popular thus the startup needs to hold their nerves till that time. Also the looks can be improved to make it more attractive from a visitor’s perspective.
